Where to Dine Out on Thanksgiving 2018

Are your Thanksgiving plans set? If you don’t feel like making your own holiday spread this year, let a local restaurant do the work for you. Below is a list of just some Orlando restaurants that will be serving up a Thanksgiving feast. Don’t forget to make your reservations.

Canvas Restaurant & Market

Looking to celebrate Friendsgiving, but want to avoid the kitchen? Let Canvas Restaurant + Market play host on Nov. 8! Gather your friends at one of Canvas’ communal tables and enjoy a family-style meal featuring Thanksgiving favorites paired with seasonal cocktails. Hosted in Canvas’ spectacular garden, guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail and appetizers before sitting down for an evening of good food, drinks and conversation. The reception starts at 6 p.m. and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.

Chroma Modern Bar

This Lake Nona restaurant puts a tapas spin on some Thanksgiving classics. Along with regular menu items, Chroma will be serving turkey roulade with brioche stuffing and turkey gravy for $13, New York strip “prime rib” with triple butter mashed potatoes for $15, crispy Brussels butternut squash hash for $8, triple butter mashed potatoes for $9 and brioche stuffing for $6. Dessert caddy specials include mini apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream for $4.50 and pumpkin cheesecake with pecan brittle, whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs for $4.50.

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse

Choose between butternut squash soup or a harvest salad to start before digging into a slow-roasted turkey breast with apple sausage stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes and chateau potatoes, thin green beans, pan gravy and cranberry relish. Then have your choice of pumpkin cheesecake or pecan pie a la mode for dessert. Del Frisco’s regular menu will also be available.

Garden Grove

Guests will feel as if they have been transported to the tranquil gardens of Central Park. Disney character dining featured nightly. On Thanksgiving, a breakfast buffet will be served from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thanksgiving dinner buffet will include roasted turkey, homemade gravy, cranberry sauce, apple cider glazed smoked ham, maple whole grain mustard sauce, seared salmon, citrus couscous, caper emulsion, pumpkin ravioli, save browned butter and toasted hazelnuts, traditional stuffing as well as chicken nuggets, mini corndogs and macaroni and cheese for the kids.

Roy’s

Roy’s will be open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Thanksgiving and will feature unique twists on Thanksgiving classics. Choose between a caesar salad or lobster bisque to start then enjoy a pan-roasted teriyaki glazed turkey with Portuguese sausage stuffing, haricots verts and hazelnuts, sesame carrots, truffle mashed potatoes and bacon pan gravy. End the meal with a choice of a maple brown sugar pumpkin tart or chocolate torte.

Tapa Toro

Tapa Toro’s three-course dinner puts a spin on Thanksgiving. Items will include white bean soup to start, carved porchetta served with chorizo stuffing and maple-glazed Brussels sprouts as the entree, and a cranberry-orange tart with chantilly cream for dessert.

Go Greek from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. this Thanksgiving. Taverna Opa will be serving a Greek-style prixe fixe feast along with the regular menu. The prix fixe menu includes choices of horiatiki salad, spanakopita or keftedes to start; chicken, beef or lamb as the entree; and loukomades (Greek donuts with spiced-honey syrup) for dessert.

The Capital Grille

In addition to its full a la carte menu, The Capital Grille will be serving a Thanksgiving Dinner plate this Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will include slow-roasted turkey, brioche stuffing, French green beans with Marcona almonds, and cranberry chutney. The table will receive Sam’s Mashed Potatoes to share as well. A slice of pumpkin cheesecake is also on the menu for $11.

Todd English’s bluezoo

Urban Tide’s three-course meal allows you to go classic or nontraditional this Thanksgiving. Choices include 48 hour braised pork belly or Maine lobster tortellini to start; roasted turkey breast with sage-infused mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing and gravy or grill Colorado lamb chops with Point Reyes blue cheese gnochhi, marcona almond and cherry salsa for the entree; and bourbon pecan pie with ice cream for dessert.

On Thanksgiving, Westgate River Ranch Resort and Rodeo will host a home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the entire family at 5 p.m. in the banquet area. The buffet will include herb-roasted turkey, maple glazed ham, prime rib, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato casserole, Ro’s homemade stuffing, southern-style green beans, freshly baked cornbread, buttered sweet corn, sweet yeast rolls with whipped butter, salad bar, apple pie, pecan pie and pumpkin pie.

Wine Bar George
$32 per person, $16 for kids ages 9 and under
Starting at 11 p.m., Wine Bar George will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving turkey plate with all the fixin’s as well as a slice of pumpkin pie for $10. Select items from the regular menu and featured seasonal beverages will also be available in addition to more than 140 wines to choose from by the glass, bottle or ounce.
