Contour Airlines Adds New Nonstop Flights From Sanford to Missouri This Winter

Orlando Sanford International Airport is adding a new nonstop destination this winter as Contour Airlines launches seasonal flights.

Beginning Dec. 16, Contour Airlines will offer nonstop flights between Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and Cape Girardeau Regional Airport (CGI) in southeast Missouri.

This new route will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays through March 27, 2027.

For Cape Girardeau-area travelers, the service provides a convenient way to reach Orlando and Central Florida’s theme parks, attractions, beaches, and entertainment without a connecting flight. For Florida travelers, it creates a new nonstop link to Southeast Missouri.

New Schedule

Contour Airlines’ new seasonal service will operate on the following schedule:

• Cape Girardeau to Sanford: 9:40 a.m. departure and 1 p.m .arrival on Wednesdays and Saturdays

• Sanford to Cape Girardeau: 1:50 p.m. departure and 3:10 p.m. arrival on Wednesdays and Saturdays

All flight times are local, and the schedule is subject to change.

According to Contour, strong demand for the Cape Girardeau-Pensacola route showed continued interest in convenient nonstop flights to Florida destinations. The airline is now expanding that service with a Central Florida route.

“Adding seasonal service between Cape Girardeau and Central Florida gives travelers in the region another convenient way to escape the winter and enjoy all that Florida has to offer,” said Ben Munson, president of Contour Airlines.

The Sanford route also marks Contour Airlines’ first service in the Central Florida market.

Travelers flying the new route will ride Contour’s 30-seat regional jets, which feature leather seating and expanded legroom in every row.

The airline also provides complimentary snacks and beverages on its flights.

Additionally, Contour offers connections through interline partnerships with Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, and United, giving travelers additional options for connecting itineraries beyond the airline’s nonstop routes.

Travelers can book through Contour’s website, by calling (888) 332-6686, or through local and online travel agencies.
