PCL Construction Services Inc. has been awarded a $76 million project to expand Port Canaveral’s Cruise Terminal 10.
Construction began in 2026 and is expected to be completed in November 2027.
The project will expand the terminal to approximately 145,000 square feet, nearly 30% larger than the existing facility. The expansion is designed to accommodate larger cruise ships and improve passenger flow and terminal operations.
Work will include expanded passenger queuing, security screening and check-in areas, as well as upgraded terminal interiors and information technology systems. The project also includes new support facilities and electrical, mechanical and site infrastructure improvements.
The expansion is part of Port Canaveral’s broader capital improvement program to support continued growth in cruise operations and improve passenger capacity and efficiency.
“Port Canaveral is a critical gateway for the cruise industry and an important economic driver for Florida’s Space Coast,” said Chris Ritter, district manager of PCL’s Orlando office. “We’re honored to partner with Port Canaveral on this transformative project. Drawing on our experience delivering complex projects in active transportation environments, we’re helping create a modern, efficient facility that will enhance the passenger experience and support the port’s continued growth.”
PCL Construction is a global construction company with operations across the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Australia.
The expanded Cruise Terminal 10 is expected to be completed in November 2027.
