Allegiant Travel Company is expanding its network with five new nonstop routes, including a new connection between Huntsville, Alabama, and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). The route, which begins February 12, 2026, will offer one-way fares starting at $39.*
The addition strengthens Sanford’s role as a key hub for Allegiant, offering travelers from northern Alabama a convenient gateway to Central Florida’s attractions. The airline’s leisure-focused business model aims to connect underserved markets directly to popular vacation destinations while keeping travel affordable.
“Coming off the heels of an announcement two weeks ago, we are excited to continue our growth trajectory,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer. “As a leisure focused airline our unique business model allows us to quickly respond to consumer demand and connect underserved markets to top vacation destinations. This expansion bolsters our service in existing markets and we look forward to introducing our brand of service to a new market.”
The Sanford–Huntsville route joins several other new services announced by Allegiant:
Huntsville to Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL) – Service begins Nov. 19, 2025
Huntsville to St. Petersburg, Florida (PIE) – Service begins March 5, 2026
Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Appleton, Wisconsin (ATW) – Service begins Jan. 16, 2026
Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida (SRQ) to Rochester, New York (ROC) – Service begins Feb. 13, 2026
To accommodate travelers planning ahead, Allegiant has also extended its flight schedule through May 2026. The airline’s network of all-nonstop flights is designed to streamline travel, reducing time spent in airports so passengers can spend more time at their destinations.
