The spirit of invention and creativity will once again take center stage as Maker Faire Orlando returns November 8–9, 2025, to the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Now in its 13th year, the non-profit, community-organized event celebrates curiosity, innovation, and hands-on learning by bringing together makers, artists, engineers, scientists, and creators of all ages.
Described as a “family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness,” Maker Faire Orlando features more than 200 exhibits and is expected to draw over 14,000 attendees. The two-day event transforms the fairgrounds into a hub of do-it-yourself science, art, and technology, offering a mix of interactive displays, workshops, and live demonstrations.
“Maker Faire Orlando brings together an incredible mix of curious minds and creative spirits—people who love to learn, build, and share,” founder Ian Cole said in a press release. “From engineers and scientists to artists and crafters, it’s a one-of-a-kind space where makers showcase their passions and projects, offering a glimpse into the future and sparking inspiration for all who attend.”
Field Trip Preview Day: Learning Through Making
Maker Faire Orlando will host its second annual Field Trip Day on Friday, Nov. 7, offering a special preview designed for public, private, and charter school field trips, as well as homeschool families and co-ops.
Students and educators will experience a full day of hands-on learning and creativity, engaging directly with makers, artists, and engineers from across Florida. The event offers a unique opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world applications of science, art, and technology.
Field Trip Day is free for educators, field trip groups, and homeschool families with advance registration, based on availability.
