Ever heard the phrase “it takes a village to raise a child”? The same can apply to building a business. Joining a Chamber of Commerce alone is not enough. You must get engaged to unlock all the benefits of your membership.

Running a business is challenging; you don’t have to do it alone. Are you facing a challenge and unsure how to power through it? Your chamber can connect you with local experts who can help you come up with solutions to business problems.

Your professional development is essential, so the Lake Nona Regional Chamber of Commerce regularly hosts educational events designed to help relieve some of the stress of managing your organization. These events provide growth opportunities for both you and your business.

Many people join a chamber for incredible networking events. By participating in networking opportunities, you make valuable business connections. Whether you are looking to hire, gain customers, or meet people who can help with management challenges, networking is a great way to get the job done. By actively participating, you are building up your community of support who can help your business when needed.

Here are some incredible educational opportunities coming up:

Thursday, June 8 at 8 am, our Breakfast Connections event will feature Spectrum Reach giving business operators tips to ensure their businesses are ready to advertise. Topics include:

  • Starting a marketing campaign.
  • Leveraging your data.
  • Finding your target audience.
  • Making the right creative decisions.

Monday, June 19 at 11:30 am will be our Nona Professional Ladies luncheon at the Lake Nona Performance Club. With kids at home for the summer, this can be a tough time of year for working parents. Attendees will learn helpful tips and strategies to help them effectively juggle it all!

Chambers of Commerce offer many benefits, but they only produce a return if you get involved. If you are not getting much use from your chamber, it could be because you are unaware of the incredible resources available.
