Starting December 1, 2025, SunRail launched its new “Winter Express,” expanding weekday service with two additional evening trains to make it easier to travel across Central Florida during this holiday season.

Under the updated schedule, SunRail now offers a northbound evening train departing Poinciana at 8:45 p.m. and a southbound late-night train leaving DeLand at 9:55 p.m. These additions give both commuters and leisure riders more flexibility to enjoy dinner, shows, sporting events, or seasonal celebrations without rushing home.

To help riders make the most of the upgraded service, SunRail has published a “Winter Express” event guide on its website, featuring local holiday festivities, tree-lightings, performances, games, and even bowl-game match-ups.

Riders are encouraged to check updated schedules, browse the event guide, and follow SunRail on social media for news and tips. Also, SunRail reminds everyone to stay alert around tracks, crossings, and station platforms in the spirit of holiday cheer.
