Florida’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has been named the top attraction in the United States, according to Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travelers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Things to Do. The prestigious ranking places the iconic space destination ahead of other nationally recognized landmarks, including the Empire State Building, Central Park, and Alcatraz Island.

Tripadvisor’s annual awards highlight the highest-rated experiences around the globe, based on a full year of traveler reviews and ratings. With more than eight million listings on the platform, fewer than 1% receive the Best of the Best designation, which recognizes exceptional experiences and consistently high levels of satisfaction.

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex stood out with over 15,000 five-star reviews, earning not only the top spot in the U.S. but also placing No. 3 on Tripadvisor’s list of the best attractions in the world.

Florida secured three of the top six U.S. attractions in this year’s rankings—none of which are affiliated with Disney. This underscores the state’s wide-ranging appeal beyond its famed theme parks, showcasing attractions that highlight history, science, and nature.

The Kennedy Space Center has long been a hub for innovation and exploration, offering interactive exhibits, astronaut encounters, and a close-up look at NASA’s spaceflight programs. Its recognition as the top-rated attraction in the country reflects its continued popularity with travelers seeking educational and inspiring experiences.

For those planning a visit to Florida, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex now ranks among the must-see destinations nationwide.
