This summer, SeaWorld Orlando is turning up the energy after dark with the return of Electric Ocean. This is an expanded nighttime celebration packed with animal presentations, immersive entertainment, live music, acrobatics, and a brand-new drone spectacular.
Beginning June 12, guests visiting the park can experience what park officials are calling the “biggest and best” summer lineup. It will feature a full day-to-night schedule of attractions and entertainment designed for families and thrill-seekers alike.
“This summer, there are so many reasons to visit SeaWorld Orlando,” said Jon Peterson, president of SeaWorld Orlando, in a press release. “Guests will experience powerful animal connections by day and a full lineup of electrifying nighttime entertainment.”
One of the biggest additions this year is the return of nighttime animal presentations. Three all-new evening shows will debut as part of Electric Ocean, blending educational storytelling with music, lighting, and high-energy production.
- Shamu Celebration: Light Up The Night will showcase killer whales through vibrant lighting effects and choreography in a festival-style atmosphere
- Dolphins: Touch the Sky combines playful bottlenose dolphins with an uplifting soundtrack and storytelling focused on the human-animal connection.
- Sea Lions Tonite will also return with new comedy moments and surprises throughout the summer season.
Guests can also cool off inside the air-conditioned Nautilus Theater during Hydro Surge, a new cirque-style production featuring acrobatics, dancers, and live percussion inspired by the movement of the ocean.
For families looking for a more interactive nighttime experience, Club SeaGlow transforms Bayside Stadium into a glowing DJ dance party complete with music, performers, and immersive lighting effects.
The nighttime festivities culminate with two large-scale spectacles lighting up the Orlando sky. SeaWorld Orlando’s new drone show will feature hundreds of synchronized drones forming glowing ocean scenes and sea creatures overhead. The show will be followed by the return of Ignite: A Fireworks Spectacular, an enhanced fireworks and fountain show set around the park’s central lake.
In addition to Electric Ocean, SeaWorld Orlando also plans to debut Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice later this summer, a new attraction centered around scientific exploration of extreme environments. The park says more details and opening dates will be announced soon.
For guests planning multiple visits throughout the summer, SeaWorld Orlando is encouraging visitors to take advantage of annual passes, which include unlimited park admission, free parking, guest tickets, and exclusive event access.
