Earlybirds Club Is Redefining What A Night Out Looks Like in Orlando

Dinner, drinks, a dance floor, and a late night are usually what one would expect when participating in nightlife. But it seems more people are replacing that midnight appeal with being home before bedtime. This feeling is what the Earlybirds Club has set out to rethink. 

When high school friends Laura Baginski and Susie Lee launched Earlybirds Club in 2024, they weren’t trying to reinvent nightlife. They wanted to create a space where people, especially women and gender-expansive individuals, could dance, connect, and have fun without the downsides associated with traditional late-night club culture. 

Earlybirds Club describes itself as “A Dance Party for Ladies Who Have Sh*t To Do In The Morning.” Instead of starting late at night, events run from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., giving attendees four hours of fun while still giving them an opportunity to get home at a reasonable hour. 

According to the organization’s founders, the mission was for people to “dance the early evening away without the late-night drama, judgment, or creeps.” 

Earlybirds Club events feature music from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, blending pop, hip-hop, R&B, new wave, and house music into a nostalgic and welcoming experience. Organizers describe the atmosphere as a place where people can “come as they are” and feel safe enough to enjoy themselves. 

While everyone is welcome to attend, the organization intentionally centers women, trans, and non-binary communities, creating a space designed to foster inclusion, safety, and community. 

The Story Behind It

Baginski and Lee, who first met as high school students, co-founded the organization together. What they expected to be a single event evolved into something much larger as demand grew and parties began expanding into cities across the U.S. 

In August 2025, Lee passed away after battling metastatic breast cancer. Today, Baginski and Lee’s cousin, Helean Lee, who serves as the DJ and Music Director, continues the mission. 

Beyond the dance floor, Earlybirds Club has incorporated philanthropy into its model from the beginning. Ten percent of proceeds from every event are donated to local nonprofits that support women, allowing each gathering to make an impact in the communities it serves.

So, this Friday, June 5, the Earlybirds Club is coming to Orlando at The Beacham. This night of music and nostalgia will be going from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Ten percent of the proceeds from the Orlando event will benefit GO-NOW, an organization dedicated to advancing and protecting the equal rights of women and girls in social, political, and economic life. 

No VIP sections. No pressure to stay out all night. No expectation beyond showing up and having a good time.

These events are a chance to connect and celebrate without the belief that a great night out has to last until 2 a.m.
