According to, Netflix’s 2022 show “Dahmer” starring Evan Peters as the infamous serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer is currently the streaming service’s third most popular show of all time with over a billion hours watched. True crime podcasts are also gaining popularity.

With spooky season just around the corner, now is the perfect time to listen to true crime podcasts while you exercise, do household tasks, or best of all, while curled up in a blanket with a bottle of wine and some snacks.

Crime Junkie

Ashley Flowers and Brit Prawat host this weekly podcast. The pair discuss famous and mysterious true crime cases each Monday, in addition to bonus episodes when there is an update on a case. Each episode is around 45 minutes long on average, so settle down with a chilled bottle of pink Moscato and a snack board. Incorporate salted nuts or cured meats to balance the sweetness of the wine.
