Universal Orlando Resort is gearing up for the 2026 return of its annual Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval celebration, taking place from February 7 through April 4 at Universal Studios Florida. The seasonal event brings together global Carnaval traditions with lively entertainment, a nightly parade, live concerts on select dates, and a wide selection of international cuisine.
Throughout the nearly two-month celebration, guests can expect a high-energy parade featuring illuminated floats, street performers, and the signature cascade of colorful beads. On select evenings, major musical acts will take the stage for live performances included with park admission. The event will once again spotlight culinary offerings from around the world, as well as dishes inspired by New Orleans’ classic Mardi Gras flavors.
One of the event’s most popular add-ons, the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience, is also returning for 2026. The package includes a three-course meal—featuring one appetizer, entrée, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage—at one of five participating restaurants:
• The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar (Universal CityWalk)
• NBC Sports Grill & Brew (Universal CityWalk)
• Lombard’s Seafood Grille (Universal Studios Florida)
• Confisco Grille (Universal Islands of Adventure; 2-Park ticket required)
• Antojitos Authentic Mexican Restaurant (Universal CityWalk; dinner only)
After dining, guests receive a reserved spot aboard a parade float, where they can join the procession and toss beads to onlookers, embracing a hallmark of the New Orleans tradition.
The Float Ride and Dine Experience is available now starting at $94.99 plus tax per person. Reservations can be made by calling 407-224-7554 or visiting UniversalOrlando.com/MardiGras. Universal Orlando Passholders can take advantage of a 15% discount when purchasing through the website, at select in-park locations, or by phone with valid pass and photo ID.
Access to Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval is included with regular admission to Universal Studios Florida and with valid Universal Orlando Annual or Seasonal Passes, though blockout dates may apply. Universal Orlando will share additional details soon, including the full concert lineup and the complete menu of food and beverage offerings.
