Central Florida Public Media’s Tiny Desk Contest Showcase Sells Out Annual Event

Central Florida Public Media hosted their annual Tiny Desk Contest Showcase on Thursday at the Beacham in Orlando, selling out a historic 612 tickets.

The Tiny Desk Contest Showcase is part of Central Florida Public Media’s efforts to bring unique voices to the community, featuring local acts from all over the region. The performers entered NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest and were chosen by a local public vote.

Featured artists included Joseph Jevanni, Skyyler Rayn, Vibra and Yella Kang, who delivered original compositions showcasing their sounds.

This annual event serves as Central Florida Public Media’s regional version of NPR’s Tiny Desk and offers an outlet to amplify local voices on its platform.
