From patriotic parades to educational museum visits and family-friendly festivities, here are several Veterans Day events happening throughout Central Florida.
15th Annual Veterans Day Celebration
Date & Time: Friday, November 7, 2025, 10:00 a.m.
Location: Shady Park, Winter Park
Hosted by the City of Winter Garden and local veteran organizations, this ceremony includes patriotic tributes, color guard presentations, and remarks honoring military service – a community tradition.
Orlando Veterans Day Parade
Date & Time: Saturday, November 8, 2025, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Downtown Orlando
Orlando’s signature Veterans Day event returns with marching bands, honor guards, ROTC units, and veteran service organizations. The parade route winds through downtown and concludes with a ceremony honoring local veterans and Gold Star families. Patriotic, family-friendly, and proudly Orlando.
Lake Nona Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony
Date & Time: Saturday, November 8, 2025, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Lake Nona Town Center
Lake Nona will host its annual tribute, beginning with a parade and continuing into the Town Center with live performances, remarks from local leaders, veteran recognition, and community festivities.
Orange County Regional History Center – Free Admission for Veterans
Date & Time: November 7–11, 2025
Location: Orange County Regional History Center, Orlando
Veterans and active-duty service members receive free admission, plus two complimentary guest passes, to explore local and national history exhibits. It is a reflective and enriching way to honor service.
SeaWorld Orlando Veterans Appreciation Weekend
Date & Time: November 7–11, 2025
Location: SeaWorld, Orlando
SeaWorld hosts a special weekend honoring veterans and active-duty military personnel, including recognition ceremonies, themed entertainment, and family activities throughout the park. Presented by Navy Federal Credit Union, fireworks will start at 8 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
Seminole County Veterans Day Celebration
Date & Time: Tuesday, November 11, 2025, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: 100 Weldon Boulevard, Sanford
A heartfelt ceremony featuring musical tributes, anecdotal speakers, presentations of Quilts of Valor, and recognition of veterans. All veterans who have served in any military campaign or branch in honor of our nation’s freedom are invited to attend.
Veterans Day Observance
Date &Time: Tuesday, November 11, 2025, 5:00 p.m.
Location: Oviedo on the Park (Central Lake Park)
The ceremony features remarks by Commander Larry Kayne and the reading of names on the wall of remembrance. The Haggerty High School JROTC Honor Guard will present colors, and the Oviedo High School Brass Ensemble will perform the National Anthem.
Crooked Can Veterans Gathering
Date & Time: Tuesday, November 11, 2025
Location: Crooked Can Brewing Company, Winter Garden
A low-key community event at a favorite local brewery, offering a welcoming space for veterans and supporters to gather, raise a glass, and enjoy the day.
