From Orlando nightlife and community festivals to sports tournaments and zoo events, LGBTQ+ pride is sure to be celebrated across the region. Here’s a guide to some of the biggest Pride events happening this June.
GayDays Orlando 2026
Dates: June 4–7
Location: DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld, Orlando
GayDays Orlando returns for its 35th anniversary with a weekend full of pool parties, entertainment, drag events, and community gatherings. One of the country’s longest-running LGBTQ+ celebrations, the multi-day event attracts visitors from around the world each summer. Organizers say this year’s festivities will continue the tradition of celebrating visibility, inclusion, and connection throughout Central Florida.
The Pride Cup 2026
Dates: June 5–7
Location: Hyatt Place Lake Buena Vista
The Pride Cup brings LGBTQ+ athletes and allies together for a weekend of inclusive sports competitions and social events. Participants can compete in volleyball, soccer, basketball, pickleball, and kickball while connecting with teams and supporters from across the country. The event focuses on community, wellness, and creating a welcoming environment for athletes of all experience levels.
RED Shirt Pride Day
Date: June 6
Location: Walt Disney World Resort
RED Shirt Pride Day is one of Orlando’s most recognizable LGBTQ+ traditions, bringing thousands of guests together at Walt Disney World while wearing red shirts in celebration of Pride. What began in 1991 as a small gathering has grown into a globally recognized Pride weekend tradition. The event now spans multiple parks and is part of a larger weekend of Pride-themed activities throughout Orlando.
Purple Moon Pride Weekend
Date: June 6 – 7, 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Location: Fiction, Downtown Orlando
Purple Moon transforms downtown Orlando into a late-night Pride celebration featuring music, dancing, and immersive entertainment. The event is designed as an energetic nightlife experience for LGBTQ+ guests and allies celebrating Pride weekend. Organizers say attendees can expect vibrant visuals, DJs, and a high-energy atmosphere throughout the night.
Pride Bar Crawl Orlando
Date: June 13, 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Location: Elixir Kitchen and Bar, Orlando
The Pride Bar Crawl invites guests to celebrate Pride Month with themed drinks, nightlife specials, and entertainment at bars across downtown Orlando. Participants receive access to multiple venues, drink specials, and an after-party experience. Organizers also note that proceeds from the event help support LGBTQ+ causes and Pride organizations.
Shades of Pride
Date: June 19, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Location: Morean Center for Clay, St. Petersburg
Shades of Pride celebrates Juneteenth by uplifting Black LGBTQ+ voices through art, performances, and community programming. The event creates space for conversations around identity, liberation, and culture while highlighting Black queer creativity. Organizers say the evening is intended to be both celebratory and reflective.
Love & Liberation: A Boldly Unapologetic Juneteenth Pride Celebration
Date: June 20, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Location: Central Florida Fairgrounds, Orlando
Hosted by Come Out With Pride, Love & Liberation is Central Florida’s largest Juneteenth Pride celebration. The event highlights the intersection of Black and LGBTQ+ identities through performances, vendors, music, and community organizations. Organizers describe the celebration as a vibrant and empowering event focused on joy, culture, and liberation.
Sunset at the Zoo: Celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride
Date: June 26
Location: Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, Sanford
The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is hosting a special after-hours Pride celebration featuring entertainment, activities, and animal experiences. Guests can explore the Zoo during the evening while enjoying music, community programming, and family-friendly activities. The event combines wildlife experiences with an inclusive celebration of LGBTQ+ pride.
St. Pete Pride Parade & Festival
Dates: June 27–28
Location: Downtown St. Petersburg
St. Pete Pride remains Florida’s largest LGBTQ+ Pride celebration and one of the biggest Pride festivals in the Southeast. The weekend includes a waterfront parade, entertainment stages, vendors, community groups, and celebrations throughout downtown St. Petersburg. Each year, the event draws hundreds of thousands of attendees celebrating diversity, visibility, and inclusion.
