Space enthusiasts can now secure their spot to witness the highly anticipated Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4) launch, scheduled for no earlier than Sunday, June 8, from Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A.
Organized by Axiom Space, the Ax-4 mission marks the company’s fourth private astronaut flight to the International Space Station (ISS). The four-person crew will journey aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, launched atop a Falcon 9 rocket, for a mission focused on scientific research, commercial outreach, and international collaboration.
Upon arrival at the ISS, the crew is expected to spend up to 14 days conducting a range of experiments and activities aimed at furthering scientific discovery and promoting global space engagement.
Exclusive Viewing Package Now on Sale
To commemorate the occasion, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is offering a premium “Feel the Heat” launch viewing package priced at $250 plus tax. This exclusive experience provides guests with access to the Apollo/Saturn V Center lawn, located approximately four miles from the launch pad — one of the closest public viewing areas available.
For visitors interested in more general viewing options, launch access is also available with standard daily admission, which includes first-come, first-served seating at designated bleacher areas within the main visitor complex.
A Historic International Collaboration
The Ax-4 mission carries historical significance as it represents the first government-sponsored human spaceflights in over 40 years for India, Poland, and Hungary. While these nations have each flown one astronaut previously, Ax-4 will be their first mission involving astronauts stationed aboard the International Space Station.
Pending approval by NASA and its international space agency partners — including Roscosmos, JAXA, ESA, and CSA — the mission underscores Axiom Space’s growing role in supporting national space programs and expanding access to low-Earth orbit.
This multinational mission highlights the evolving landscape of space exploration, as public-private collaborations continue to shape the future of human spaceflight.
