Professional football is officially returning to Orlando next spring. The United Football League (UFL) has announced the launch of the Orlando Storm, one of three new expansion teams joining the league for its 2026 season.
The Orlando Storm will play home games at Inter&Co Stadium, located in the heart of downtown Orlando. The venue—known for its intimate design and energetic atmosphere—is expected to provide fans with an up-close, high-energy experience on game days.
The Storm joins two other new teams, the Columbus Aviators and the Louisville Kings, expanding the league’s footprint as the 2026 season kicks off on March 27, 2026. They’ll compete alongside returning franchises including the Birmingham Stallions, Dallas Renegades (formerly Arlington), DC Defenders, Houston Gamblers (formerly Roughnecks), and St. Louis Battlehawks.
According to the league’s website, the launch of the Orlando Storm signals “a new chapter for spring football in Central Florida,” promising a mix of excitement, community engagement, and entertainment.
With Inter&Co Stadium now set to serve as the Storm’s home field, fans can expect an electric atmosphere and renewed enthusiasm for professional football in the region.
