The Oviedo Jeep Club is gearing up for its ninth annual Holiday Toy Drive and Jeep Decorating Contest, set for Sunday, November 30, from 5–8 p.m. at Outback Steakhouse, located at 215 W. Mitchell Hammock Road in Oviedo. The long-running community tradition supports RISE Community Solutions’ Holiday Joy Toy Drive, which provides gifts to local children and families each holiday season.

The event will also feature a special appearance from Santa Claus, who will be available for photos with children throughout the evening.

Community Invited to Donate Toys

Residents are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys for children of all ages. All donations stay within the community and are distributed through RISE Community Solutions, part of Embrace Families. Representatives from RISE will be onsite to answer questions and accept monetary contributions from anyone wishing to offer additional support.

Jeep Decorating Contest Open to All Enthusiasts

The Jeep Decorating Contest is open to all Jeep owners, regardless of club membership. Participants are asked to arrive by 4:45 p.m. to line up, complete any last-minute decorating, and be ready to greet community members dropping off toys. A prize will be awarded to the best-decorated Jeep, adding a festive competitive element to the evening.

Each year, members of the Oviedo Jeep Club and area Jeep fans transform their vehicles into eye-catching holiday displays, drawing spectators and helping boost toy donations. The club—recognized for its philanthropic efforts including food drives, school supply collections, and volunteer initiatives—considers this one of its marquee annual events.

Longstanding Partnership Supports Local Families

RISE Community Solutions has partnered with the Oviedo Jeep Club for the past six years, and the toy drive has become a valued part of its holiday efforts. The Holiday Joy Toy Drive helps bring gifts to more than 300 children annually, and organizers say community participation plays a crucial role in meeting that need.

The event aims to combine holiday cheer, family fun, and charitable giving—making it an anticipated gathering for residents and Jeep enthusiasts alike.
