Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs has unveiled its first-ever Halloween transformation, bringing a mix of spooky décor, themed bites, and seasonal cocktails to the fan-favorite waterfront lounge. The frightfully fun makeover is available now through November 4, giving guests plenty of time to enjoy this limited-time experience.
A Boo-tiful Transformation
Known for its adventurous aviation theme tied to Indiana Jones’ pilot, Jock Lindsey, the hangar has taken on a new seasonal identity. Visitors will find a nostalgic Halloween atmosphere featuring vintage 1940s-inspired décor, flickering lanterns, and playful touches designed to feel festive rather than frightening.
Unlike the bar’s popular Christmas overlay, the Halloween version immerses guests in what feels like an old-fashioned Halloween party—complete with hidden references to Disney lore. One notable addition is a weathered banner reading “Bigelow’s Air Circus,” a nod to the 1991 Disney film The Rocketeer. Guests may also spot a South Seas Club coaster, another Easter egg from the same movie.
Frights, Flavors, and Themed Sips
The new Halloween Hangar Bar menu introduces nine exclusive food and drink items crafted especially for the season. Highlights include:
Alien Invader Sliders – Nashville hot fried chicken on a cheddar-chive biscuit with provolone, pickles, and queen olives
Cursed Mummy Sausages – Mini smoked sausages wrapped in puff pastry with pomegranate-mustard sauce
Phantom Dumplings – Chicken and pork dumplings served with teriyaki dipping sauce
Zombie Eye Bites – Deviled egg filling with crispy fried chicken and black olives
Snake Egg Surprise (Non-Alcoholic) – Lemonade with lime juice, desert pear syrup, and green apple boba pearls
Cauldron Cooler – Hendrick’s Gin with ginger liqueur, lemon, simple syrup, and butterfly pea extract
Scarab Beetle Essence – A tropical mix of Siesta Key Silver Rum, Malibu, Blue Curaçao, pineapple juice, and grenadine
Skull of the Dead – Mojo pork and cheddar wrapped in a flour tortilla with pickle pico de gallo
The Spike Trap – Malibu Coconut Rum, vanilla vodka, cream of coconut, and Sprite topped with a ghost marshmallow
A Bar with Adventurous Roots
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is steeped in Disney storytelling. According to its backstory, Jock—Indiana Jones’ trusted pilot—discovered Disney Springs in 1938 while chasing a mythological lead through Central Florida. Captivated by the natural springs, he bought waterfront property and built an airplane hangar that later became the themed bar.
The lounge is filled with aviation memorabilia, Indiana Jones artifacts, and nods to the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.), a recurring thread throughout Disney’s parks and storytelling universe.
When to Visit
The Halloween Hangar Bar overlay is available daily through November 4 at Disney Springs, making it a seasonal stop for both locals and visitors looking for festive eats and immersive theming.
Whether you’re a Disney fan, an Indiana Jones enthusiast, or simply searching for unique Halloween treats in Central Florida, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar offers a limited-time experience blending spooky fun with adventurous storytelling.
