Having Fun is part of Doing Business

While serving as the leading business advocate in Central Florida and building partnerships, strong business and a commitment to the community, we must never forget a core value of our organization: Having fun.

We have achieved numerous state and local recognitions for being proactive with regional, local and statewide economic trends. We are also, by nature, a relationship building organization. For the most part, people tend to do business with those that they get to know socially. Most of our relationship-building opportunities happen at social gatherings such as our monthly Business After Hours, annual Golf Classic, networking groups, BEST FEST and our popular Rising Star Elected Official Sing-Off.

This year’s Elected Official Sing-Off, sponsored by Universal Orlando and Greenberg Traurig, P.A., will be held at CityWalk’s Rising Star at Universal Orlando Resort on November 13. During the event, guests will enjoy a special appearance by singing sensation Sisaundra Lewis from NBC’s The Voice. This highly acclaimed event is an opportunity for the public to see some of our area’s most prominent elected officials face the music. From country to the oldies and rock to pop, this year we will have more participants, more songs and lots of great memories. For more information and to RSVP, visit wochamber.com.
