The University of Central Florida’s Flying Horse Editions (FHE) will host its third annual Benefit Sale and Open Studio on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its downtown Orlando studio, located at 380 W Amelia Street.
This one-day event offers the public a rare chance to explore FHE’s renowned printmaking studio, experience live demonstrations of traditional printmaking techniques, and purchase fine art at significantly discounted prices. Select limited edition prints and original artworks will be available for up to 35% off, making it a unique opportunity for collectors, art enthusiasts, and newcomers alike to acquire works by internationally recognized contemporary artists.
Flying Horse Editions, established in 1996 as part of UCF’s research initiatives, has grown into one of the most prestigious collaborative printmaking studios in the world. The studio partners with some of the most influential names in contemporary art to produce limited edition pieces that are often included in major museum and private collections. Past collaborators include Will Cotton, Eddie Martinez, Tara Donovan, and Kelly Reemtsen, among others.
Throughout the event, FHE staff and UCF students will lead guided studio tours and interactive printmaking demonstrations, offering visitors insight into the meticulous processes behind the artwork. It’s a rare behind-the-scenes look at how museum-quality prints are produced.
Parking is available at the City of Orlando’s garage on Alexander Place, just a short walk from the studio.
