Orlando Health has officially opened its new Fetal Care Center at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, offering specialized services for patients navigating high-risk pregnancies. The facility began operations on June 13.

The 5,725-square-foot center is designed to support expectant mothers facing complex prenatal conditions by providing comprehensive diagnostic and treatment options. It includes:

  • Six ultrasound examination rooms

  • Two fetal non-stress test (NST) bays

  • A dedicated consultation room

  • Advanced conferencing space with real-time connectivity to the hospital’s operating rooms

The newly integrated conference space enables seamless communication between maternal-fetal specialists and surgical teams, particularly for cases involving fetal diagnoses or in-utero procedures. This real-time collaboration enhances the ability to create informed care plans, supporting both clinical outcomes and family understanding.

Located within the existing Winnie Palmer Hospital campus, the Fetal Care Center strengthens Orlando Health’s commitment to expanding specialized maternal-fetal services across Central Florida.
