Dr. Ryan Mendro and Dr. Lucia Roca Mendro, a husband-and-wife team at Precision Periodontics & Dental Implants, are dedicated to helping Central Floridians restore happier, healthier smiles.
As board-certified periodontists, Dr. Mendro and Dr. Roca Mendro are uniquely trained in the treatment of gum disease and the placement of dental implants. Both doctors are diplomates of the American Board of Periodontology and hold active memberships with the Florida Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Mendro is also a member of the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.
Dr. Mendro earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida, his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the prestigious Columbia University in New York and his Master of Science and certificate in periodontics also at the University of Florida. Dr. Mendro finds dentistry, and periodontics in particular, the perfect combination of art and science. It allows him to treat disease and restore health while giving people back their smile.
Dr. Roca Mendro earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Francisco Marroquin University and continued her advanced education at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her periodontics residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Rutgers, is a published author and is fluent in Spanish and Italian.
The doctors at Precision Periodontics & Dental Implants provide the most advanced treatment using state-of-the-art technology including 3D scanners and lasers. The practice provides both traditional and alternative periodontal procedures, including Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure, (LANAP), an alternative to traditional gum surgery, and the Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique, (PST), an exciting alternative for treating receding gums. Both techniques require no scalpels or stitches.
