Co-starring Denis Leary and James Earl Jones, THE SANDLOT is a wonderful and heartwarming coming-of-age tale that entertains both kids and adults. It’s the 1960s, and soon-to-be fifth grader Scotty Smalls is the new kid in town. An avid baseball fan, Scotty is befriended by a baseball-loving group of kids who spend an idyllic summer playing our national pastime. Things are going great until Scotty’s dad’s prized baseball, autographed by Babe Ruth, lands in a junkyard guarded by a ferocious dog. THE SANDLOT is alive with summertime spirit and has been called the “FIELD OF DREAMS for tweens.”
