Central Florida Mardi Gras Good Time Guide 2026

Good times are here in Orlando. The celebration of Mardi Gras is underway in Central Florida following this week’s “Fat Tuesday” and “Ash Wednesday.” 

Here are some places that offer themed food and festivities in the local Orlando area this year.

Universal Orlando Studios

Date: Feb. 7 – April 4

Location: Universal studios

Tickets: start at $119.99

Universal Studios is offering two months of Mardi Gras festivities like parades, concerts and merchandise. The park is also displaying their event “International Flavors of Carnaval”. Themed huts are located around the park serving food specific to different countries like: Austria, Brazil, Chile, China, France, Greece, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico and more.

Saturday, Feb. 28: RuPaul (DJ set)

Saturday March 7: Ziggy Marley

Curry Ford West’s 2nd Annual Mardi Crawl

Date: Saturday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m.

Location: Curry Ford West Main Street District 

Tickets: $10 presale and $15 the day of event

Multiple establishments across the Curry Ford West Main Street District are bringing Mardi Gras festivities to Orlando. It is encouraged to dress up in masks and come festive. Expect neighborhood bars, food and drink specials at each shop, beads and music. Must be 21 years or older to participate in the event.

12th Annual Mardi Gras Street Party

Date: Saturday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m.

Location: 202 South Sanford Avenue

Tickets: Free Admission

Sanford’s Mardi Gras Sashay Parade is bringing festivities to Sanford Avenue. The parade will feature walking, biking, golf-cart riding and antique car driving. Patrons are encouraged to decorate themselves and their rides. Meet up at 6th Street and Sanford Avenue at 4 p.m.

Tibby’s New Orleans Kitchen

Location: 2203 Aloma Avenue

New Orleans vibe and true to its color. This chain of New Orleans styled restaurants has three locations in Central Florida. Its menu features crawfish mac and cheese, jambalaya and shrimp gumbo.

Universal’s Islands of Adventure Confisco Grille & Backwater Bar

Location: Universal’s Islands of Adventure

Featuring Mardi Gras Float and Dine specials at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. The deal comes with an appetizer, entree, dessert and non-alcoholic drink. This location is featuring King Cake for Mardi Gras.
