Downtown Winter Garden is expecting a new addition to the dining scene with the opening of Harlow Grove this Spring. This stylish two-story restaurant and lounge is just steps away from Plant Street. The anticipated concept comes from Knallhart Management, the hospitality group behind local favorites like The Whole Enchilada Fresh Mexican Grill & Rooftop Bar, AJ’s Pizza Joint, and Harrell’s Hot Dogs + Cones.
Designed as a place guests will want to linger, Harlow Grove blends elevated comfort food, inventive cocktails, and an inviting atmosphere meant for everything from casual weekday meals to lively weekend nights. The restaurant’s guiding philosophy is simple: stay awhile.
“Harlow Grove is designed to feel effortlessly enjoyable,” said Ashley Alejo, marketing director. “You instantly feel comfortable, but it’s clear you’ve arrived somewhere special. It’s a destination that welcomes you back time after time.”
The space has two floors filled with natural light, transitioning from day to night dining. Guests can gather in the first-floor lounge for cocktails, head upstairs to the second-floor dining room and full-service bar, or dine outdoors on the open-air terrace. With three distinct areas, the design balances timeless style and comfort, creating an environment that feels polished without being intimidating.
With a menu designed to be both comforting and exciting, food is expected to play a central role in the experience. Drawing on inspiration from global flavors, the menu includes shareable plates like Short Rib Dip and Heirloom Burrata, along with standout entrees such as Baby Back Ribs and Lobster Lasagna.
“The menu is easy to order, fun to share, and doesn’t take itself too seriously,” said Vanessa Cardaci, founder of Knallahrt. “But it still delivers those ‘wow’ moments that make you want to come back.”
Additionally, both bars offer a mix of classic cocktails and new, creative wine selections, low-ABV drinks, and alcohol-free options. Weekend brunch is also expected to be a draw for customers, featuring items like a Pastry Tower and Chicken Chop Salad. The brunch menu will also include various cocktails.
With DJ-spun music bringing energy on the weekends and an interior that invites guests to relax, Harlow Grove aims to become a fresh but familiar gathering in Downtown Winter Garden.
