Addition Financial Launches Debit Card Supporting Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children

A new debit card launch from Addition Financial credit Union will give Central Floridians a simple way to support pediatric healthcare with every swipe. The credit union recently unveiled a co-branded affinity debit card benefiting Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, with proceeds helping fund programs and services for young patients and their families. 

What makes the launch special is the story behind the design. The card features artwork created by sisters Celeste, 7, and Gabi, 10. Both are patients at Arnold Palmer Hospital whose colorful design won a special contest held as part of the initiative. The artwork serves as a tribute to the creativity and resilience of the children treated at the hospital. 

Through the program, Addition Financial will donate three cents for every transaction made using the card. While it may seem small, those everyday purchases can add up to meaningful support for pediatric care in the area. The program is administered in partnership with Orlando Health Foundation. 

“At Addition Financial, we talk often about the importance of giving back to our communities, and partnerships like the Orlando Health Foundation help us turn those words into real impact,” said Kevin Miller, president and CEO of Addition Financial Credit Union, in a press release. “This new debit card donation program is especially meaningful to us, from the inspiring story of the former patient who designed the card to the lasting support it will provide for local patients and medical professionals.” 

Additionally, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer is the first non-education organization to participate in Addition Financial’s affinity debit card program. The credit union already operates similar initiatives supporting education-focused organizations throughout Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Volusia counties.
