Shoppers and diners in East Orlando will soon have several new reasons to visit Waterford Lakes Town Center as the popular open-air destination prepares to welcome a trio of new tenants this year. Aside from Fat Rosie’s, the additions include a global retail brand and two fast-growing restaurant concepts continue the center’s push to expand its offerings for the surrounding community and nearby University of Central Florida students.

Among the most anticipated openings is MINISO, the international lifestyle retailer known for its colorful storefronts and wide assortment of affordable products. Expected to open this summer, the store will offer everything from home goods and beauty products to stationery, plush toys and tech accessories. MINISO has become popular worldwide for its minimalist designs and rotating collections, often featuring licensed collaborations with major pop-culture franchises. The new location will add another accessible shopping option for visitors looking for trendy items at lower price points.

On the dining side, Mediterranean fast-casual chain CAVA is also slated to debut this summer. The restaurant specializes in customizable bowls, salads and pitas built with ingredients like hummus, grilled meats, roasted vegetables and house-made sauces. Known for its fresh flavors and build-your-own format, CAVA has gained popularity as a quick but health-conscious dining option, making it a convenient stop for shoppers and local residents.

Later in the year, Waterford Lakes will also welcome Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza, an artisan pizza concept founded in Miami by Italian chef Renato Viola. The pizzeria is known for its thin-crust pies and creative presentations, including its signature star-shaped pizza with ricotta-filled points. In addition to pizza, the restaurant will offer calzones, burrata, salads and other Italian-inspired dishes when it opens this winter.

Located just minutes from UCF, the 700,000-square-foot lifestyle center attracts millions of visitors annually and serves as a major hub for shopping, dining and entertainment in East Orlando. With the arrival of MINISO, CAVA and Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza in 2026, Waterford Lakes Town Center will continue to evolve.
