A weekend strolling around Winter Park’s upscale streets could always feel complete with a visit to the fan-favorite breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot, Briarpatch.
Known for its elevated dishes like its California Benedict, Blue Heaven Pancakes, and Raspberry and Brie French Toast, the Park Avenue restaurant has become a Central Florida staple, often with lines out the door and a reservation needed.
After over four decades of serving up morning to afternoon bites, Briarpatch has decided to join the dinner conversation with its “new nighttime concept” that soft-opened on October 22.
From Wednesdays through Saturdays, starting at 5:30 p.m., guests can indulge in “chef-driven French dips, gourmet dry-aged burgers, seasonal pastas, vibrant salads, steak and fish entrees, and creative desserts,” the restaurant wrote on social media. Classic and modern cocktails, sparkling wines and select wines by the glass and bottle are also available.
Transitioning between their day and night menus, a Golden Hour Happy Hour takes place Wednesdays through Saturdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. with a limited menu of discounted cocktails and appetizers.
Reservations are currently only accepted online, but walk-ins are also available.
