Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed a closing date for Rip Ride Rockit after previously giving a closing window last year.

According to Universal’s website, the ride will permanently close August 18, 2025, “to make way for a new experience. More details will be available at a later date.”

The theme park announced the rollercoaster’s closure late last year after rumors began to spiral about the infamous ride leaving. The closure was previously announced for September 2025.
