SeaWorld Orlando is gearing up for a high-adrenaline celebration in honor of National Roller Coaster Day, offering thrill-seekers the chance to ride all eight of its iconic roller coasters in a single day—an event packed with excitement, challenges, and exclusive rewards.
The Ultimate Coaster Challenge
On August 16, guests are invited to take part in the Ultimate Coaster Challenge, a one-day mission to ride all eight of SeaWorld Orlando’s roller coasters. Those who complete the challenge will receive a limited-edition 2025 National Roller Coaster Day poster and an exclusive commemorative lanyard. These items are only available to the first 2,000 finishers, making them coveted collectibles for coaster fans.
Participants must check in near Guest Services at the beginning of the day to receive their official challenge lanyard. From there, it’s a park-wide adventure as riders conquer:
Mako – Orlando’s tallest and fastest coaster
Pipeline: The Surf Coaster – a one-of-a-kind standing surf experience
Penguin Trek – the park’s newest family launch coaster
Ice Breaker – featuring Florida’s steepest beyond-vertical drop
Manta – a smooth-flying coaster with headfirst inversions
Kraken – SeaWorld’s floorless steel coaster classic
Journey to Atlantis – a splash-filled water coaster hybrid
Super Grover’s Box Car Derby – perfect for younger thrill-seekers
After completing the full lineup, guests can visit the designated redemption booth to collect their prize pack—while supplies last.
Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Experience for Pass Members
In addition to the park-wide challenge, SeaWorld Orlando Pass Members can enjoy a rare behind-the-scenes tour of Kraken, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The exclusive experience offers a look into the legendary coaster’s design, engineering, and legacy.
Tours will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., with sign-ups available on a first-come, first-served basis at the SkyTower Tour Desk. Space is limited.
