From Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, Central Florida is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with cultural festivals, live music, art exhibitions, family events and performances highlighting the region’s diverse Hispanic and Latino communities.
This year’s national theme is “Unidos, Somos Más,” or “Together, We Are More,” a theme the City of Orlando says highlights unity, resilience and the collective impact of Hispanic and Latino communities.
Here are some of the ways Central Florida is celebrating in 2026.
Orlando’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
The City of Orlando is marking Hispanic Heritage Month with events centered around art, culture, and community.
The city’s 20th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Art Exhibition is on display at the Terrace Gallery inside Orlando City Hall. The exhibition features work from local artists inspired by this year’s “Unidos, Somos Más” theme and runs through Nov. 5.
The city will also host its Hispanic Heritage Month Community Celebration on Monday, Oct. 12, from 5–8 p.m. at the Marriott Orlando Downtown, 400 W. Livingston Street. The event will celebrate the heritage, culture, and contributions of Hispanic residents in Orlando, Florida, and the nation.
Hispanic Heritage Weekend at Boxi Park
Sept. 17–20 | Boxi Park, Lake Nona
Boxi Park is kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month with a full weekend of festivities. The celebration includes live music throughout the weekend, salsa dancing on Friday, a photo booth on Saturday, and family-friendly activities including face painting and bounce houses on Sunday.
Havana Hop at Orlando Family Stage
Sept. 19 | Orlando Family Stage
Families can celebrate Cuban culture with Havana Hop, a production following a young girl who visits her grandmother in Cuba and explores her multicultural heritage.
The show is designed for families and children and takes place at Orlando Family Stage in Loch Haven Cultural Park.
Hispanic Heritage Celebration at the Central Florida Zoo
Sept. 25 | Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens
The Central Florida Zoo will celebrate Hispanic heritage during its Sunset at the Zoo event on Sept. 25.
The evening will feature music, games, cultural activities, animal enrichment opportunities, local vendors, and food trucks. The event is part of the zoo’s 2026 Sunset at the Zoo series, which highlights different cultures and communities throughout the year.
5th Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration in Apopka
Sept. 26 | Kit Land Nelson Park, Apopka
Apopka will host its 5th Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Sept. 26 from 4–8 p.m. at Kit Land Nelson Park.
The community event is one of several celebrations taking place throughout Central Florida during Hispanic Heritage Month.
Orlando Latino Fest
Oct. 10 | Luminary Green Park, Orlando
The 4th Annual Orlando Latino Fest returns Oct. 10 from 2–8 p.m. at Luminary Green Park.
The festival will feature live performances, Latin food, cultural exhibits, local vendors, and family-friendly entertainment celebrating the diversity of Central Florida’s Hispanic community.
Noche Latina at Inter&Co Stadium
Oct. 10 | Inter&Co Stadium, Orlando
Soccer fans can celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month during Noche Latina as Orlando City takes on the Columbus Crew.
The match will feature Latin-inspired music, food offerings, and themed matchday elements as part of the celebration.
Disney Celebrates Hispanic & Latin American Heritage
Sept. 15–Oct. 15 | Walt Disney World Resort
Walt Disney World is celebrating Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month with its “Together We Are Magia” theme.
At EPCOT, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series lineup includes Latin Ambition, Grupo Mania, Metro Latino Band, Rey Ruiz, and Viva Latina during the celebration. Guests can also see characters including Mirabel from Encanto, Miguel from Coco, and Princess Elena of Avalor during the Magic Kingdom Adventure Friends Cavalcade.
Disney is also offering Hispanic and Latin American-inspired food, music, storytelling, merchandise and other experiences throughout the resort.
More Ways to Celebrate
Hispanic Heritage Month extends beyond festivals. Throughout September and October, Central Florida’s theaters, museums, performing arts organizations, restaurants and cultural groups are incorporating Hispanic and Latin American music, art, food and stories into their programming.
Additional events include Benise: 25 Years of Passion! at Dr. Phillips Center on Sept. 24, Silvana Estrada at The Plaza Live on Sept. 25, Hispanic Heritage Month concerts at Timucua Arts Foundation Oct. 2–3, and the Latin Festival of Performing Arts Oct. 12–18.
