2026 4th of July & America 250 Events Guide: Where to Celebrate in Central Florida

America’s birthday is extra special this year. On Saturday, July 4, the United States will celebrate its 250th anniversary, and communities across Central Florida are marking the milestone with expanded fireworks shows, patriotic concerts, parades, festivals, and family-friendly events. 

Whether you’re looking for a classic hometown celebration or an official America250FL event, here’s where to celebrate.

Fireworks at the Fountain

Location: Lake Eola Park, Orlando

Date: Saturday, July 4, 4–10 p.m.

Orlando’s signature Independence Day celebration returns to downtown for a special America 250 edition. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, food vendors, a children’s play area, and one of Central Florida’s largest fireworks displays over Lake Eola. The evening concludes with a fireworks spectacular synchronized to patriotic music, making it one of the region’s premier Fourth of July traditions. 

Monumental Fourth of July 

Location: Kissimmee Lakefront Park, Kissimmee

Date: July 4, 7–9:30 p.m.

The City of Kissimmee’s biggest event of the year features live music, food trucks, the KUA Kids Power Zone, family activities, glow giveaways, face painting, and a fireworks finale over Lake Tohopekaliga at 9 p.m. Free parking is available at several nearby garages and lots. 

Avalon Park Fourth of July Festival

Location: Avalon Aglow, Orlando

Date: Saturday, July 4; 5 – 9 p.m.

Avalon Park celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with a patriotic bike parade, firecracker 5K, apple pie bake-off, family activities, live entertainment, and a fireworks show at 9 p.m. The community-focused festival is one of East Orlando’s most popular holiday traditions. 

Celebration’s Star-Spangled Spectacular 

Location: Celebration Town Center, Celebration

Date: Saturday, July 4; 8 a.m. – 9:20 p.m.

One of Central Florida’s most charming Independence Day traditions starts with a morning parade through downtown Celebration. The evening features live entertainment, family activities, food, and a fireworks display over the waterfront. The parade starts at 8 a.m., festivities begin at 5 p.m., and fireworks begin at 9:20 p.m.

America 250: July 4th Star-Spangled Celebration

Location: Promenade at Sunset Walk, Kissimmee

Date: Saturday, July 4; 4 – 11:30 p.m.

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with an all-day festival featuring live entertainment featuring DFALC on the “Red, White & YOU” Tour, street performers, specialty vendors, a craft market, classic cars, and fireworks. Families can also enjoy a special children’s celebration happening from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Party in the Park & Fireworks

Location: Newton Park, Winter Garden

Date: Saturday, July 4, 6–10 p.m.

Winter Garden is going all out for America’s 250th birthday with one of its biggest celebrations yet. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with live music, family activities, and food vendors before a spectacular fireworks show launches over Lake Apopka at 9:15 p.m. The city has also added patriotic decorations, an America 250 Selfie Spot, and a special red, white, and blue fireworks finale to commemorate the nation’s milestone anniversary.

All-American Kids Parade & Breakfast

Location: Historic Downtown Winter Garden

Date: Saturday, July 4; Breakfast: 8–10 a.m., Parade: 10 a.m.

Start your Fourth of July with one of Central Florida’s most beloved traditions. Families are invited to decorate bikes, wagons, scooters, and strollers in patriotic colors before marching through downtown Winter Garden. The free pancake breakfast, patriotic accessories, and family activities make this a perfect way to celebrate with young children. 

31st Annual Fourth of July Celebration Honoring America’s 250th Birthday

Location: Central Park, Winter Park

Date: Friday, July 3, 6–9 p.m.

Winter Park celebrates the nation’s semiquincentennial with an evening of patriotic music, community performances, and family-friendly entertainment in the heart of downtown. The free event is part of the city’s larger America 250 initiative, which includes more than 70 commemorative programs throughout 2026. It’s an ideal way to kick off Independence Day Weekend in one of Central Florida’s most picturesque communities. 

Old Town Red, White & Horsepower 4th of July Fest

Location: Old Town Entertainment District, Kissimmee

Date: Saturday, July 4

Celebrate America with classic cars, live entertainment, shopping, dining, and patriotic festivities at Old Town Kissimmee. The evening concludes with a fireworks display, offering visitors a nostalgic slice of Americana in one of Central Florida’s favorite entertainment districts. The event is also recognized as part of Florida’s America250 celebration. 

America’s 250 Celebration & Drone Show

Location: Centennial Square, Cocoa Beach

Date: Friday, July 3, 5–10 p.m.

Looking for something beyond fireworks? Head to Cocoa Beach for an exciting drone light show celebrating America’s 250th birthday. The evening includes food vendors, family activities, live entertainment, and a choreographed drone performance synchronized with music over the Space Coast, offering a modern twist on Independence Day festivities. 

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

Location: Kennedy Space Center

Date: Thursday, July 3 – Sunday, July 6 

America’s space program plays a starring role in the nation’s history, making the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex a fitting destination during the America 250 celebration. Throughout the year, visitors can experience astronaut encounters, spaceflight exhibits, and special commemorative programming highlighting Florida’s contributions to exploration and innovation. 

4th on the Lake

Location: St. Cloud Lakefront Park, St. Cloud

Date: Saturday, July 4; 4 – 9:15 p.m.

This waterfront celebration includes a lumberjack show, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, hot dog and ice cream, eating contests, yard games, food vendors, and fireworks over East Lake Tohopekaliga. It’s one of Osceola County’s most family-focused events.
