A study conducted by RVezy, examined thousands of Google guest reviews to identify which Florida RV resorts consistently deliver the strongest experiences. The ranking focused on average ratings and review volume to highlight both customer satisfaction and consistency.

“Florida really stands out because it checks so many boxes for RV travelers at once,” said Michael McNaught, founder and CEO of RVezy. “You’ve got warm weather year-round, an easygoing RV culture, and a huge range of resort styles, from luxury motorcoach parks to laid-back campgrounds near the water.”

Florida’s mix of year-round warm weather, coastal destinations, and a large population of retirees and snowbirds has helped make it one of the most competitive RV resort markets in the U.S.

  1. The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

Rating: 4.6 (3,750 reviews)

The highest-ranked resort in the state also stands out nationally due to its unusually high number of reviews. Researchers noted that few RV parks in the U.S. surpass 3,000 Google reviews, making Fort Wilderness a rare example of large-scale consistency. Guests frequently cite its immersive theming, clean facilities, and easy access to Disney World transportation.

  1. Keys Palms RV Resort

Rating: 4.8 (430 reviews)
Located in the Florida Keys, this resort earned one of the highest average ratings in the state. Its strong performance reflects its oceanfront setting, tropical atmosphere, and well-maintained grounds in a region with limited RV competition.

  1. Wilderness Shores Ranch & Campground

Rating: 4.8 (309 reviews)
Despite a smaller review base, this resort ranked highly due to consistently strong guest feedback. Reviewers often highlight its peaceful environment, open space, and nature-focused experience.

  1. Madison RV & Golf Resort

Rating: 4.8 (304 reviews)
Golf remains a major draw for many RV travelers, particularly retirees and long-term visitors. The resort’s ranking suggests well-kept facilities and amenities that support extended stays.

  1. Keylime Bay RV Resort

Rating: 4.8 (295 reviews)
This resort demonstrates that smaller parks can compete with larger destinations. Its high rating points to attentive management, community atmosphere, and attention to detail.

RVezy analyzed Florida RV resorts using two primary factors:

  • Average Google rating (minimum 4.5 required for inclusion)
  • Total number of Google reviews

Resorts were ranked using a combination of rating strength and review volume to reflect both guest satisfaction and consistency. All data came from Google Reviews.
