What’s Happening at Marketplace and Kirkman Station in MetroWest?

MetroWest’s grocery shopping options are being enhanced and expanded over the summer at Marketplace and Kirkman Station.

The Winn-Dixie store at MetroWest Marketplace, located at 1401 S. Hiawassee Rd., recently completed renovations totaling more than $250,000. According to management, Winn Dixie spent over $150,000 to “refresh” both the interior and exterior of the MetroWest location. In addition, earlier this year, Marketplace owners invested another $100,000-plus to upgrade the center’s lighting, parking lot, landscaping, and general building improvements.

Also, Kirkman Station, on the corner of South Kirkman Road and Raleigh Street, will welcome a new Bravo Supermarket later this summer. According to Bravo, “Because our stores are all independently owned and operated, Bravo has the unique ability to cater to the needs of the local community, which is why no two Bravo Supermarkets are exactly alike. At Bravo, customers will find the products that are meant for the people who live in the neighborhood – stocked with a large assortment of specialty and international products, fresh meat, seafood, produce and more.”
