The Health Care for the Homeless Co-Applicant Board will hold its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 13, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. The meeting will take place virtually.
The Co-Applicant Board serves as the patient- and community-based governing board for Pinellas County’s Health Care for the Homeless Program. Its role is to set health center policy on behalf of the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners.
The board provides an opportunity for patients and community representatives to participate in discussions and offer feedback related to the program. Pinellas County encourages patients and clients to participate in the board’s monthly meetings and provides opportunities to become board members.

The October 13 meeting will be held online through Microsoft Teams, with a telephone option also available.

The board meets monthly as part of its current meeting series, which covers the grant year from March 1 through February 28, 2027. Pinellas County notes that a quorum is required for the meetings to remain in compliance with Health Resources and Services Administration requirements. If a quorum is not reached, the meeting must be rescheduled.
About Pinellas County’s Health Care for the Homeless Program
The Health Care for the Homeless Program provides health services to eligible residents experiencing homelessness in Pinellas County. Services include primary medical care, preventive care, referrals for specialty and dental services, behavioral health assistance, substance use treatment, and case management.
Care is available through locations and services that include the Bayside Health Clinic, Mobile Medical Unit, Street Medicine Team, and telehealth services.
The Co-Applicant Board plays an important role in the program’s governance. According to Pinellas County, the board includes a representative majority of consumer and patient representatives and fulfills the required authorities of a governing board.
