Painting the Town in Winter Park

After calling Winter Park home for over 30 years, March can only bring one thought to mind: The Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival. This signature event, held March 17-19, captures Winter Park smack-dab in the middle of spring, when all seems pregnant with possibility. What better time to celebrate the creativity of our resident artists and welcome others from out of town?

This can’t-miss event is the best time to experience Winter Park in all of its glory. The juried festival highlights world-class talent in multiple media complete with special events, food vendors and concerts. It is the perfect time to taste from the menu of all that Winter Park has to offer: dining al fresco at one of our amazing restaurants, motoring through the canals and lakes on the Scenic Boat tour, or shopping on Park Avenue.

Art does not just come for a visit in March, though. For a deep dive into Winter Park’s art scene, add on a visit to the Morse Museum, The Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens or the Cornell Fine Arts Museum at Rollins College. Winter Park is home to the largest collection of Tiffany glass in the world, housed at the Morse Museum, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.

So, come for the art and stay for the fun! We can’t wait for you to explore Winter Park this spring.
