It’s Almost Hob Nob Time!

The Oviedo~Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts the East Side Regional Hob Nob every election year. This year, the event is presented by The University of Central Florida and will be held at the UCF FAIRWINDS Alumni Center on the UCF campus from 5-8:30 p.m. on July 9. This regional event will include a two-county Straw Poll courtesy of the Supervisors of Elections Offices of Seminole and Orange counties; appearances from candidates for federal, state and local offices; a BBQ dinner provided by Sonny’s BBQ; and a variety of complimentary beverage selections.

Election interest is high this year, and we expect attendance to reflect that, especially since Hob Nob attendees will be able to vote in either county. Hob Nobs are a great way to meet the candidates you will see on the upcoming ballots in Orange and Seminole counties and to learn more about them. Presale tickets are only $20 and can be purchased at www.esrhobnob.com.

If you know someone who is running and believe he or she should have a presence at this event, please spread the word. Candidate registration is open now on the event website.
