The Florida State Fair is returning to Tampa in February 2027, bringing 12 days of rides, food, live entertainment, animals, competitions, and family activities to the Florida State Fairgrounds.
The 2027 Florida State Fair will take place Feb. 4-15, 2027, under the new campaign theme, “Experience Real Fun. Florida’s Original Fun.”
The fair is also kicking off ticket sales with a limited-time $5 Flash Sale on Thursday, Oct. 8.
Florida State Fair $5 Flash Sale
For 12 hours only, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on October 8, guests can purchase Any Day admission tickets for just $5 with no added fees, while supplies last.
Guests who purchase a Flash Sale admission ticket can also add $5 parking, with a limit of two parking passes per order.
The Flash Sale will be available exclusively online and represents the lowest admission and parking prices available for the 2027 fair.

The 2027 fair continues a tradition that dates back more than 120 years. The first Florida State Fair was held in Tampa in 1904, and the annual event has continued to highlight Florida’s agriculture, communities, creativity and culture.
This year’s campaign, “Experience Real Fun. Florida’s Original Fun,” emphasizes the shared, in-person experiences that have made the fair a longtime Florida tradition.
“The Florida State Fair has been creating genuine, shared experiences for Tampa Bay families for more than a century,” said Cheryl Flood, Chief Executive Officer of the Florida State Fair, in a statement. “That is why we call it Florida’s Original Fun, and yes, Florida’s OG Fun. In 2027, we are inviting everyone to stop watching the fun from a distance and come be part of it.”
Florida State Fair Youth Admissions Policy
The Florida State Fair’s youth admissions policy will remain in effect for the 2027 event.
Beginning at 4 p.m. each day, guests 17 and younger must be accompanied by an admission-paying parent or guardian who is 21 or older and has valid identification.
Each accompanying adult may supervise up to four guests ages 17 or younger.
