Celebrating National Women Physicians Day

If 2020 taught us anything, it is that there are hardworking men and women on the front lines continuing to provide for our communities regardless of the challenges. They are our teachers, our bankers, and most importantly, our health care providers.

Today is National Women Physicians Day, a day in which we honor the female doctors for their progress in the profession. The date, Feb. 3, symbolizes the birthdate of Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to ever receive a medical degree in the United States in 1849. Please help us celebrate National Women’s Physicians Day as we recognize some of the female physicians in our community!
