The Haunted Road drive-thru experience

Drive-thru experience

The Haunted Road, Orlando’s first drive-thru Halloween experience is back! Introduced during the pandemic, The Haunted Road was founded by Jessica Mariko and a team of immersive theater creatives. You may know Mariko for producing the Sesame Street Land at SeaWorld Orlando. Mariko is also the creator of DRIP, a live art and theater experience where dancers perform in paint, flying water, and sand.

Located on Lake Pickett Road, The Haunted Road has quickly become a Halloween favorite. This year, the experience is produced and operated by Magniloquent Entertainment LLC. The Haunted Road – Human Slaughterhouse Edition tickets include a 25-minute drive down an all-new portion of The Haunted Road.

Last year’s drive-thru experience

What to expect this year

You will need to drive until you reach a ghost sighting area and put your vehicle in park. Beware: Ghosts are known to interrupt the radio stations. The Haunted Road will let you know which radio stations the ghosts tend to interrupt at each ghost sighting area. Be prepared to listen in to see if you can hear anything.

Callie, the head scenic artist for The Haunted Road explains how this year’s theme is a different level of spooky. “There’s a lot of animalistic behavior. It’s a little wild, bloody and gory,” she says.

If you successfully make it to the end of the road, there is an option to park your car and walk through the Human Slaughterhouse. The slaughterhouse is not for the faint of heart. Prepare to fight to the finish so that you can make it to the chilling Afterlife Party. At the Afterlife Party, you’ll enjoy a haunted DJ, Haunt Market with Halloween and other creepy souvenirs. The party also includes pop-up performances, a food truck, and themed cocktails for purchase.

VIP Ghost Tour

Want a more intense experience?  Join the VIP Ghost Tour which includes a 30-minute walking ghost led by a spirit guide through the natural Florida farmland, and Express Entry to the themed cocktail bar and Human Slaughterhouse. Even more scary, explore the resting sites of The Haunted Road’s most infamous serial killers with real-life ghost-hunting equipment.

Admission to the road will be open select nights from September 21 through November 6, 2022, with timed ticketing entrance times between Sunset – Midnight. Visit TheHauntedRoad.com for more information.
