Creative City Project is bringing back one of its most immersive and sensory-rich experiences this summer with Anthology: Elemental, a literary and musical event set to run from Friday, August 15 through Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Renaissance Theatre Company. Presented by Massey Services and produced in collaboration with Play The Moment, this unique event combines poetry, live jazz, and craft cocktails to explore the five classical elements: earth, water, air, fire, and spirit.
Guests will be treated to a series of powerful poetic performances, each themed around a different element. Every segment is paired with a specially crafted 3 oz. cocktail designed to complement and enhance the emotional tone of the spoken word. The result is a 70-minute multisensory journey that blurs the lines between story and flavor.
“This show is a call to slow down and feel. In a world rushing past, Anthology: Elemental invites us to root, to breathe, to burn, to flow—and to remember what connects us,” Aradhana Tiwari, Director, Play The Moment, said in a press release. “With Elemental, we’re inviting audiences to experience poetry not just as text, but as something embodied, alive and electric. Each element carries its own emotional charge—and through engaging the senses, we translate those energies into something visceral and immediate.”
Setting the mood between performances, the Thomas Milovac Trio will provide live jazz interludes, adding an atmospheric layer to the already dynamic experience. The integration of music, spoken word, and artisanal drinks makes Anthology: Elemental more than a performance—it’s a fully immersive evening that engages every sense.
Since its inception in 2014, Anthology has pushed the boundaries of how literature can be experienced, merging theatrical performance with innovative presentation. The 2025 edition continues this legacy, offering a bold and memorable night out for lovers of poetry, music, and craft cocktails.

Sunday, August 17 – Shows at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
