A fun and leisurely stroll for pets, their families and friends, Paws for Peace is an annual fundraising event that supports Harbor House and its Paws for Peace Kennel. The kennel recently expanded, which allows more survivors to bring their pets when they leave their homes. Harbor House has the only onsite kennel for the pets of domestic abuse survivors in Central Florida. The walk is a family-friendly event and will feature bounce houses, music and a train ride for children, as well as free custard samples.

The event is open to teams and individuals and is great for families. General Registration: $20 donation (includes a free t-shirt and doggie bandana)
Children 12 and under: No charge

Paws for Peace Kennel ensures no family member is left behind in an abusive home, and allows children of survivors to maintain contact with their pets while staying in the safety of the shelter.
