Woodturning enthusiasts with previous lathe experience can sharpen their skills at the Tri County Woodturners Turn & Learn workshop on Saturday, November 7, at the Land O’Lakes Branch Library.

Hosted in the library’s Foundry, the workshop is designed for adults ages 18 and older who already have experience using a lathe. Community mentors from Tri County Woodturners will guide participants through the session, with all materials provided.

Choose a Morning or Afternoon Session

Participants can select one of two identical workshop sessions on November 7. The morning session runs from 9 a.m. to noon, while the afternoon session takes place from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Both sessions will be held in Multipurpose Room D – Foundry at the Land O’Lakes Branch.

Because the workshop is intended for participants with previous lathe experience, attendees should have familiarity with using a lathe before registering.

Foundry Safety Requirements

Safety requirements are part of the workshop. Participants must be 18 or older and wear closed-toe shoes.
