Scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the evening invites families, couples, and friends to experience the zoo after hours in a festive, cultural atmosphere. The zoo will close at 4 p.m. and reopen at 5 p.m. for the celebration.

Guests attending Sunset at the Zoo: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage can look forward to an evening filled with live entertainment, food, and family-friendly fun. Music and performances inspired by Hispanic culture will set the tone for the night, offering a lively soundtrack to the twilight gathering.

Food is a major highlight of the event, with a variety of food trucks stationed throughout the grounds. In addition, specialty sunset-only items will be available at Graze and other dining locations inside the zoo. Visitors can also browse local vendor booths and themed displays, adding opportunities for shopping and cultural discovery.

Families with children will find plenty of activities tailored for younger guests, including kid-friendly crafts that encourage creativity and engagement with the evening’s theme. Organizers have also promised a few surprise elements to keep the experience fresh and exciting for all attendees.

Tickets are available online for $6 or at the gate for $8. For families, a special 4-Pack can be purchased online for $44, which includes four admissions, four hot dogs, and four sodas. Entry will close at 7:30 p.m., with the zoo officially ending the event at 8 p.m. The celebration will take place rain or shine.

While animals may not be visible during evening hours, the focus of Sunset at the Zoo is on community, culture, and entertainment. With its emphasis on Hispanic heritage, this closing event of the season offers a unique way for Central Florida residents and visitors to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the zoo under the twilight sky.
