“Mystical Magic” pop star Benson Boone is set to bring his vocals under moonbeams at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Merritt Island. On Saturday, Nov. 29, Boone will headline Visa Live at the Rocket Garden, a one-night concert surrounded by NASA rockets.
The open-air concert will take place among nine towering rockets from NASA’s Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo eras, under the stars in a part of the venue ordinarily closed at night.
“This show is going to be so insanely sick and one I’ll remember forever,” Boone said in a press release from Visa. “I hope everyone likes my outfit as much as I do.”
The show will also be livestreamed globally on TikTok, making the experience accessible to fans around the world.
For those attending in person, tickets will not be sold to the general public. Instead, Florida residents aged 18 or older can visit this website starting Nov. 6 at 9 a.m. ET for a chance to win free tickets to the in-person event.
Benson Boone’s Rise
At 23 years old, Benson Boone has quickly become one of pop music’s most popular voices. The singer-songwriter first captured the nation on American Idol before signing with Dan Reynolds, frontman of Image Dragons. His first single “Ghost Town” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually went platinum, while hits like “Beautiful Things” and “In the Stars” have received millions of global streams.
Known for his emotional lyrics and powerful vocals, Boone’s performance at the Kennedy Space Center will mark another milestone for his rising career.
In the same press release, Visa’s Chief Marketing Officer explained the event’s purpose: “The space or environment in which the music is performed actually matters to both the artist and the audience … We believe that Visa Live at the Rocket Garden embodies the history of real space travel and the promise of future exploration.”
Expect an immersive visual experience, complete with illuminated rockets, and Boone’s hits echoing beneath the sky.
