The First Academy (TFA) in Orlando, FL, proudly announced two pivotal updates that mark a significant leap forward in its commitment to fostering excellence in athletics and student life.

TFA Jeff Conaway- Leadership on and off the Field

In an exciting move for the athletic department, Coach Jeff Conaway steps into the role of Director of Athletics, bringing with him a rich background in sports leadership and a deep commitment to student development. Having previously led as the Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Shiloh Christian School in Arkansas, Coach Conaway’s expertise and passion will elevate TFA’s athletic programs. His dual role as Director of Athletics and TFA’s Head Football Coach promises a holistic approach to nurturing athletic talent and personal integrity among students.

Mr. Will Cohen, the outgoing Director of Athletics and a distinguished alumnus, complements the leadership transition as he assumes a new role within the school’s leadership team. As Assistant Head of School for Campus Operations starting March 1, 2024, Mr. Cohen’s experience and dedication will continue to enrich the school in new and impactful ways.

This transformation includes introducing the Royal Kitchen & Eatery and the Gather Cafeteria Space, offering students and staff a modern dining experience that complements TFA’s academic and extracurricular offerings.

Named in honor of TFA’s Head of School, the Whitaker Auditorium is a versatile space accommodating various activities. From Chapel services and fine arts performances to athletic events and student gatherings, the auditorium can host up to 500 attendees, fostering a sense of community and shared experience among students and guests alike.
