Kids in grades K-5 can spend the day creating and exploring at the Ingenuity Lab makerspace at Hugh Embry Library in Dade City.
On Thursday, November 5, the Pasco County Public Library Cooperative will host a hatching dinosaur craft activity designed for elementary-age children. The hands-on project gives participants an opportunity to create while learning how to use the library’s makerspace.
The activity will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants will have one hour to complete the project, including cleanup.
Hatching Dinosaur Craft in Dade City
The Ingenuity Lab at Hugh Embry Library provides a space where children can work with materials and explore creative projects. For this activity, participants will create their own hatching dinosaur craft.
First-time visitors to the makerspace will receive an introduction and tour, along with information about the lab’s safety guidelines before beginning their activity.
The program is open to children in grades K-5.
What Parents Should Know
A parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver for every person entering the Ingenuity Lab makerspace. Families should complete the required waiver before participating in the activity.
Each participant will have one hour to work on the dinosaur project, with cleanup included in that time.
The event will take place at Hugh Embry Library, 14215 4th Street, Dade City, FL 33523, in downtown Dade City.
