Opry Entertainment Group and Luke Combs have announced plans to open a new Category 10 entertainment venue at Universal CityWalk Orlando, expanding the country music-inspired brand into one of the top tourism markets. The Orlando location is targeted to open in late 2027 and will add a large-scale live music, dining, and nightlife destination to Universal Orlando Resort.

This nearly 33,000-square-foot, three-story Category 10 location will deliver live country music, Southern-inspired food and drinks, and immersive entertainment spaces influenced by Combs’ music and personal passions. The venue will mark the third Category 10 location nationwide, joining the flagship in Nashville, Tennessee, which opened in 2024, and a Las Vegas location set to open in fall 2026.

“I have a line in my song ‘1, 2 Many,’ ‘there’s no stopping me once I get goin’. Well, I guess you can say the same about Cat 10 now,” said Combs in the press release. “I know Orlando is a worldwide destination spot, so I’m super pumped and humbled that we’re getting to open a location there. My wife is from Florida, so we’re both super excited about this. I am glad to be bringing our brand of first-class service and awesome tunes to the Sunshine State.”

The Category 10 brand is inspired by Combs’s 8x platinum No. 1 debut hit, “Hurricane,” a nod reflected in the venue’s storm-themed name. Designed as an “off-the-charts” entertainment experience, Category 10 combines live music and line dancing, making it a natural fit for Universal CityWalk.

Category 10 is owned and operated by Opry Entertainment Group, a division of Ryman Hospitality Properties. OEG’s portfolio includes popular country music brands and venues such as the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium, as well as the Blake Shelton-inspired Ole Red brand. OEG already operates an Ole Red location in Orlando, further strengthening its presence in the city’s thriving tourism and entertainment corridor.

OEG plans to break ground on the new Category 10 Orlando construction project in summer 2026, with additional design and entertainment details expected to be released as development progresses. The venue is expected to become a major nightlife and live music destination at Universal Orlando Resort, appealing to both local country music fans and tourists seeking an authentic Nashville-style experience in Central Florida.
