SunRail riders will have the option to commute later at night starting December 1, with the introduction of two new evening trains.

One train will run northbound to DeLand, and the other will go southbound to Poinciana. According to the schedule on the SunRail website, the northbound train would make its last departure from Poinciana at 8:45 p.m., getting into DeLand by 10:26 p.m. The last southbound train would leave Deland at 9:55 p.m., arriving in Poinciana by 11:38 pm.

The introduction of these evening rides gives late commuters like those attending local events and those working night shifts, more flexibility to get around.

As SunRail introduces these new trains to its schedule, there are a few adjustments to the existing timetable. The new schedule will begin on December 1 and can be found at SunRail.com.
